Do you want to make a difference in a child’s life?
For our Team Members, working at BrainFitU isn’t just a job, but a passion.
Cognitive Trainers are much more than a tutor. They help to nurture and grow struggling students in a way that most have never seen before!
Our creative and enthusiastic Team Members have an openness to learning new ways of thinking about learning disabilities. Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude unlock success as we teach our clients how to learn in intensive, one-on-one sessions. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and Cognitive Trainers receive training in managing, delivering, and applying the customized teaching methods.
While having a background in teaching and the educational system is a definite plus, what we are really looking for are those who are gifted in working with children. Experience with students who are struggling to learn are preferred.
Candidates typically possess a BA/BS or higher degree in psychology, education, or a related field and have at least four years working with children. Because of the nature of our programs, an excellent command of the English language with strong phonetic and auditory processing skills is required in addition to strong reading and writing skills.
Our busy center draws individuals who are able to think on their feet and learn quickly. BrainFitU is perfect for the professional, self-directed personality who is able to manage time well, think creatively, and multi-task student learning activities with administrative responsibilities such as progress report writing and parent communication.
We are always on the outlook for an exceptional individual. If you think this describes you, please upload your resume and a cover letter using the form below.
